INTO THE FUTURE WITH A NEW OWNER AND A PROVEN CONCEPT
With courage, a deep belief in the healing power of human beings and a strong pioneering spirit, Dr. Erich von Weckbecker opened our clinic over seventy years ago. His credo, ‘combining tradition and modern methods to create new effectiveness’, gave rise to a holistic fasting concept that focuses on the human being as a whole.
A similar pioneering spirit is driving us at the start of this year. We are therefore beginning 2026 with renewed vigour as we embark on an exciting new chapter in our clinic's history. We are delighted to announce that, as of 1 January 2026, the Ritter von Kempski Group has acquired 100% of the shares and their owner, Dr. Clemens Ritter von Kempski, has personally taken over as managing director of the Dr. von Weckbecker Clinic. Together, we will continue and develop the legacy of Dr. von Weckbecker and lead the clinic into the future with vision, medical expertise and innovative spirit. We are thus continuing a history that will continue to be shaped by proven roots and foresight into an innovative future.

The Ritter von Kempski Group brings with it many years of experience in the health and hospitality sector and, under the leadership of Dr. Clemens Ritter von Kempski, already successfully operates an established health clinic in the Sauerland region as well as the renowned Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch and Hotel & Spa Suiten FreiWerk in the southern Harz Mountains. Relaxation and regeneration through the power of nature and a focus on sustainability are important pillars here.
This expertise will help to further strengthen our clinic without forgetting what has distinguished it for decades. Even with the new ownership and management structure, our integrative four-pillar concept, which includes therapeutic fasting as well as naturopathic treatments, exercise and relaxation, and spiritual guidance, remains the proven foundation of our work.
