Modern laboratory diagnostics can be used to detect the causes of complaints and recognise possible risk factors at an early stage. However, due to budget constraints, today's contract medicine can often only offer limited laboratory diagnostics.
At the Malteser Klinik von Weckbecker, you have the option of having special tests carried out in addition to the classic laboratory parameters, which provide additional information about your state of health.
The parameters for the diagnostics can be individually compiled, e.g. for the most important organs, as a health check for the intestines (stool examination) or extended cardiovascular risk factors.

Leech treatment
Treatment with leeches is one of the oldest treatment methods in medicine. A number of healing substances are transferred to the patient when the leech bites or sucks blood. Most of these active substances in the leech's saliva, which are mainly anti-inflammatory and stimulate blood circulation, cannot yet be produced artificially.
