TREATMENTS AND APPLICATIONS
OUR OFFER: HOLISTIC AND PHYSICAL THERAPIES
Physical therapies during a fasting cure offer numerous benefits that support the fasting process. They help to relax the muscles, promote blood circulation and help to alleviate fasting discomforts such as tension or joint pain. These therapies can also improve mobility and keep the body active in a gentle way, which stimulates the metabolism and increases general well-being. The targeted use of physical therapies promotes the healing process and makes the fasting experience more pleasant and effective overall.
Manual therapy
Manual therapy is a special form and additional training in physiotherapy that is used specifically to treat functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles and nerves). It has a pain-relieving effect and helps with movement disorders and restrictions. The aim is to restore the harmonious interplay between joints, muscles and nerves.
Jaw-joint therapy
Misalignment or incorrect loading of the temporomandibular joint, which manifests itself in pain or constant jaw clicking, has an impact on the entire body. The effects of craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) can be, for example, unclear facial, head, neck and back pain, dizziness, visual complaints or tinnitus. The therapy treats the cause of the complaints, usually a non-functional position of the two jaws in relation to each other or tension in the masticatory muscles.
Kinesio-Taping
Kinesio taping is a therapy that is already firmly established in competitive sport. This form of therapy is used to treat painful conditions, particularly in the muscular, tendon and skeletal system. Elastic cotton-based fabric tapes are applied directly to the surface of the skin, which support the body's function in such a way that the pain often subsides immediately. This avoids postural restraint and subsequent problems such as tension. It can also be useful to tape preventively, e.g. before a marathon run, to avoid cramps.
Fascia stimulation therapy
Also known as ‘biomechanical muscle stimulation according to Nazarov’, the method was developed in the 1970s for astronauts and competitive athletes from Russia. It relaxes the muscles by stimulating the circulation, but can also have a positive effect on the lymphatic system. The special frequency loosens fascial ‘adhesions’. The therapy therefore also has an effect on pain. A recommended addition to other therapies.
Stimulation current/ultrasound therapy
The electronic treatment is a very good support for other treatments and can positively influence various problems through the effects of the current, including irritation, inflammation, circulatory disorders and tension.
Trigger-Point-Therapie
Our muscles contract permanently when overloaded and trigger points form (cramps within a muscle that can also radiate to other parts of the body). With precise localisation, the painful trigger points are released through manual pressure applications.
Therapy according to Dorn
By straightening the spine, blockages and the associated pain are released. Dorn therapy particularly addresses possible misalignments of the pelvis.
OUR TIP
MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
The lymphatic system is our detox and drainage system. However, it is very often overtaxed by its constant work. The therapist's gentle stroking, pushing and vibrating hand movements support the lymphatic system in its work. In addition to drainage, the therapy can also be used to relieve headaches/migraines, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), chronic sinusitis and venous insufficiency.
Very suitable for fasting and alkalising.
